Jean-Luc Godard French Toast

That was the plan . . . writes Peter Burnett. We were going to be creating junk, litter and festival garbage . . . all at the expense of Jean-Luc Godard.

When the 2020 Edinburgh International Film Festival opened, on the 17th June 2020, that is when my publisher and I were going to leap into action.

My publisher, THIRSTY BOOKS, Edinburgh, had printed some postcards to advertise my stunning and hilarious novel, FRENCH TOAST, which was about Jean-Luc Godard's visit to the 74th Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Due to the 2020 pandemic however, Jean-Luc Godard did not make it to Edinburgh; because of this Jean-Luc Godard did not die in Edinburgh but lived on a happy man in Switzerland; and the Festival was all but cancelled.

Just as well.

The total length of this film is 37 seconds.
